Assumed the charge of Secretary, Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Secretariat on 9th July, 2004. Prior to assumption of office served in Legislative Assembly Secretariat in different capacities with responsibilities of almost all the branches of Legislative Secretariat of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

As member of delegation of Madhya Pradesh Branch of CPA/IPA undertook Study Tour of UK, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland & Italy

Closely associated with the Organisation of Conference of Presiding Officers and Co-Chairman of the Conference of Secretaries of Legislative Bodies in India.

Worked as Returning Officer for elections to the Rajya Sabha from Chhattisgarh.

As ex-officio-Secretary of Chhattisgarh Branch of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association/Indian Parliamentary Association undertook Study Tour of Australia, New Zealand & Singapore.

As Secretary to the Indian Parliamentary delegation attended 52nd Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference held in Nigeria (Abuja)

Also, undertook pre-conference Study Tour of USA, Russia and Spain.

Delivered lectures on almost every theme of Parliamentary Practice and Procedures to Probationers of All India and State Administrative Services at the Academy of Administration Madhya Pradesh & Subsequently Chhattisgarh.

Contributed several articles on topics of constitutional, parliamentary & legal interest which were published in books and periodicals of repute in India.
